For this project, the client wanted to enhance their backyard by adding a patio, pergola, raised garden beds, and additional plantings to create a functional entertainment space and improve the overall aesthetic. They were drawn to a modern design style, favoring block pavers and symmetrical plantings. Given the home's location in the Boise foothills, it was crucial to choose plant materials that were both deer-resistant and tolerant of clay soil.
